
Wendy Nottoli President,
M.A., CCC, BCABA
Wendy lives a busy, productive life working with her patients and their families, enjoying the company of her wonderful husband and keeping herself healthy and fit. Wendy is a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist, and Board Certified Associate behavior Analyst. She is advanced trained in the PROMPT technique and certified through TALK TOOLS as an oral motor therapist. Wendy is SOS trained, a program designed to work with feeding challenges. She is certified as a HANEN leader for: It Takes Two to Talk; More than Words; and Learning Language and Loving It. This allows Wendy to provide training to parents and professionals using these programs. Wendy is a certified specialist for The Listening Program; Interactive Metronome and Fast ForWord. When she is not at the Center you will find her running or working out, watching tennis with her husband, reading a good book or creating new ways to serve her patients.

Neyda Ketchum Bi-Lingual Speech-Language Pathologist, M. Ed. CCC
Neyda keeps very busy with her three daughters and her husband when she is not busy creating new ideas to assist her patients. Neyda and her family spend time at the beach as often as possible. Neyda and her husband can be found enjoying a night out at the movies.

Joanne has joined our staff as our office manager. Joanne enjoys her new position and the challenges it presents. When she is not at the Center, Joanne enjoys spending time with her children cheering them on to victory in all their sports activity involvement.

Kate Baumwell Program Coordinator
Kate has her degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida. She comes to KSLC with 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Kate enjoys taking photographs and playing pool when not working!

Sally Camaliche Human Resources
Sally came to KSLC in August of 2008 and has a professional background in finance and banking. After staying home to raise her family, Sally initially joined the KSLC family part time assisting with various office work and has since moved on to work as our HR Specialist.

Anne has been in the Medical field since 1970 and started Medical billing in 1983. Anne enjoys assisting and when she is not at work, she likes to shop for sales, bake, and watch T V.

Charisse Gonzalez Teacher
Charisse has been with KSLC for three years. She has worked in the First Step Program, Little Steps Big Rewards, and now teaching Special Steps.
"I´ve had nothing but a positive experience working at the center and I love being involved in making a difference in our patients´ lives and watching them grow in so many different ways."
When she is not at the center, Charisse is either at school or spending time with her parents and fiance.

Eva began interning with us at the center in winter of 2004. Once she graduated from the University of Central Florida she came on board full time as one of our Speech and Language Pathologists. She is a talented therapist who loves working with children. Eva has overseen the Next Step Program which is a language-pragmatic stimulation program designed to enhance speech, language and communication development in a natural, supportive environment. She has also created and implemented some of the pragmatic groups that we offer here at our center which focused on dealing with change, making good choices and preparing for school. She has continued her studies and is certified in administration of The Listening Program and is also trained in the area of PROMPT.

Jillian Mehler, MT-BC, NMT Music Therapist
Jillian received a Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy from Charleston
Southern University. She later pursued certification in Neurologic Music
Therapy through Colorado State University. Prior to working at Kendall
Speech and Language Center, Jillian trained in Verbal Behavior therapy. Her
therapy approach includes behavioral, sensory integration, and neurological
implementations through music. During her spare time, Jillian enjoys
playing violin in a community orchestra, serving in her church, and spending
time with her family.

Cristina Ortega, M.S., CCC-SLP Speech and Language Pathologist
Cristi is a PROMPT-trained speech and language pathologist. She truly enjoys working with children and is passionate about her work in the areas of oral-motor and feeding therapy. Cristi is also SOS-trained and a certified HANEN leader for It Takes Two to Talk. In her free time, Cristi takes pleasure in reading, practicing yoga, traveling, but mostly spending time with her husband and two children.

Debbie Ramirez, M.S. Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
Debbie received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Florida and completed her Masters Degree at Florida International University in Speech-Language Pathology. Her degrees focus on childhood education, gerontology and speech-language pathology. Debbie began working at Kendall Speech and Language Center in January of 2003 and has continued to grow professionally. She has been trained in PROMPT and the use of oral motor exercises, as well as issues dealing with auditory processing, apraxia, language and social skills. In the past, she has been responsible for conducting social/pragmatic groups for children who have difficulty interacting with peers and having appropriate conversations. Debbie spends her off time training and travelling when possible.

Anna Sherry, M.S. Certified Speech-Language Pathologist
Anna started her career in 1997 working at the Kendall Speech and Language Center, Inc. as a trained Technician working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. After a year Anna decided to focus on speech and language development as her chosen career. She earned the position as a Speech-Language Assistant at our Center in 1998. Anna then went on to earn her masters degree in speech-language pathology and finished her training in New York City. Anna is living on Miami Beach with her husband and two little girls. She is enjoying her position at our Center as a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Anna enjoys teaching children social skills to assist children in their social settings. She teaches the children school-related skills, friendship making skills, and dealing with feelings. Anna also developed the Little Step/Big Rewards program that is offered at KSLC. This program is for children functioning between the ages of 2 and a half and 4 years of age. This program is designed to facilitate emergent literacy, language development, social interaction and phonemic awareness. Anna is now working at The Kendall Speech and Language Center part-time due to her busy schedule at home. asherry@kslc.net

Saenya Simms Program Director, First Step
Saenya graduated from Florida International University with her Bachelors Degree in the Spring of 2002.
She has studied Behavior Analysis and is trained in Picture Exchange Communication System. As Program Supervisor of the First Step, HAP and Special Step programs, Saenya oversees and mentors our Technicians. She is a compassionate, dedicated young lady who knows how to move the children! When she is not working, Saenya enjoys reading and spending time with her family!

Mary Valentini Scheduler
Mary has been on staff at the Kendall Speech and Language Center, Inc. since 1995. In her current role, she coordinates the schedules for therapists, advises and reserves available appointments for sessions and evaluations, and ensures the arrangements for all meetings are in order. When she is not working, Mary enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.

Caroline Vartzbedian Director´s Assistant
Carol joined our Center in March 2006. She came to us from Egypt bringing her son for services at our Center.
Carol worked for nine years as an Executive Secretary in a German Pharmaceutical Company where she gained experience in the business field. She volunteered at an international speech and language center in Cairo for two years performing secretarial duties. Carol’s knowledge of five languages has helped her throughout her professional career.
In her spare time, Carol enjoys reading a good book and watching movies. She, her husband and two boys enjoy being outdoors swimming, playing basketball, tennis and having a great time.

Christie Vitiello Speech-Language Pathologist
Christie comes to our center from Chicago and now lives with her husband in Coconut Grove. She received her Bachelors Degree from Indiana University and completed her Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush University. She is excited to be working with children and doing what she loves. Christie is also trained in DIR/Floortime! In her spare time, Christie enjoys being outside, reading a good book, and spending time with family and friends.

Fran Wittorf Technician
Fran has been working at our Center for approximately 16 years. Fran enjoys watching the children learn to communicate in part because of his dedication and spirit. When Fran is not at the Center, he is busy with his labradors, participating in triathalons and just enjoying life!
