What is Our WINTER FUN?

Our WINTER FUN program is designed to facilitate language development, and social interaction with a little bit of academic review.  It is a program designed to offer our children a supervised, social learning environment while having lots of fun!

Who is involved in Our WINTER FUN?

Our WINTER FUN program is for children functioning at three  to eight  years of age.

Our WINTER FUN staff includes   trained teaching staff,  certified Speech and Language Pathologists, and Music therapists.  Our Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts are   part of the team to develop and assist in behavior management if needed.


How does it work?

Our WINTER FUN is offered during the winter break.


What are the goals of Our WINTER FUN?

Theme based activities set the stage for Our WINTER FUN.   First and foremost our goal is to have FUN   A typical   day will involve the following goals:

      • Sensory Integration experiences
      • Working on Cooperative Play
      • Working on initiating play with peers
      • Learning through incidental teaching
      • Participating in activities and songs that encourage social interaction, turn taking in play and movement
      • Participate in group activities
      • Learning language and play skills involving

What are the requirements to begin?

If your child is   a current patient at our Center, our professional staff will meet to determine their goals.  If your child is not currently enrolled in our Center for services a consultation can be scheduled to determine what your child’s needs are and if this program would meet his or her needs.
